Pham Hoang Giang shared that he was happy to receive the trust and assignment to be the General Director of the opening program “Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City” with the theme “Hanoi’s Marks”. Although he has produced many successful and resounding programs about Hanoi, “Hanoi’s Marks” is truly an opportunity for him to “repay” Hanoi, the place he is attached to, loves and is grateful for giving him the life and career he has today.
Hanoi - Endless source of inspiration
Director Pham Hoang Giang made "Hanoi's Marks" with his deep love for Hanoi.
Pham Hoang Giang expressed: "I love Hanoi not only because this is where my family and I live, but also because of its unique beauty and style that is unmatched anywhere else. Hanoi, despite going through many historical ups and downs, still maintains its thousand-year-old cultural values, and is a source of inspiration for millions of works of art."
He hopes that the program "Hanoi's Marks" will convey some of that pride to Ho Chi Minh City audiences and tourists from all over.

A proud Hanoi through time
The opening program promises to be a journey back in time, recreating the heroic history of Hanoi from the day of the Capital Liberation to the present. From the image of the army returning to Hanoi in the joy of the people in 1954, to a modern, dynamic Capital that still maintains the elegance of a thousand years of culture, the program will bring the audience complete emotions.
The next part, "The Fragrance of Hanoi", will introduce to the audience a modern yet charming Hanoi with a culture and people that blends tradition and modernity. Director Pham Hoang Giang shared: "It is difficult to tell all about Hanoi's 70-year journey in just two hours, but I hope the program will help the audience feel the development, beauty and unique spirit of the Capital."
North-South solidarity
Not only stopping at recreating history, the program also emphasizes North-South solidarity through musical works connecting Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.
Songs like "Hello Ho Chi Minh City" and "Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh continues to write dreams" will portray the spirit of solidarity, looking towards the bright future of the country.
Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City
In addition to the opening program, "Hanoi Days in Ho Chi Minh City" also has a series of other attractive events such as: Thang Long Imperial Citadel exhibition, photo exhibition of Temple of Literature - Quoc Tu Giam, sports friendly matches and many activities promoting cuisine and tourism.
Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee, Mr. Ha Minh Hai, emphasized: "This is an opportunity to introduce to the people of Ho Chi Minh City and the whole country the cultural, economic and emotional values of Hanoi people, affirming the close connection and cooperation between the two big cities".
The program will be broadcast live on Hanoi Radio and Television, Ho Chi Minh City Television and rebroadcast in many localities.
