On February 5, the People's Committee of My Duc district (Hanoi) held a press conference ahead of the 2024 Huong Pagoda Festival. This year's festival season has the theme: "Safe - civilized - friendly Huong Pagoda Festival", affirming the cultural value of Huong Pagoda Festival and promoting the value of the Huong Son Scenic Relic Complex - a special national relic.
According to Mr. Dang Van Canh, Vice Chairman of My Duc District People's Committee - Head of the Festival Organizing Committee, to avoid the overload situation like many previous years, the Organizing Committee has established 5 sub-committees, 1 ticket control station, 1 interdisciplinary inspection team. At the same time, specific and detailed tasks are assigned to each member of the sub-committees to develop a scenario for managing the organization of the festival safely and thoughtfully.
Currently, all preparations are ready. The landscape space from Yen stream area to the ceremony areas has been decorated cleanly, beautifully, and civilly. Tickets to visit Huong Son relic and scenic area have been converted into electronic tickets; shops are arranged, traffic is divided, 4 bus stations have a capacity of 5,000 passengers; if overloaded, there will be gathering places, and there will be no haphazard parking.
The festival organizers added that there are currently 3,800 - 4,500 boats that meet the standards to serve guests such as: enough seats, life jackets, wifi, umbrellas... The inspection team will operate regularly, not allowing the use of motorboats, street vendors on boats, gambling on boats like previous years.
Another highlight of this year's festival at Huong Pagoda is the appearance of an electric car line operating on 3 routes: Hoi Xa bus station - Yen Vy ferry; Duc Khe bus station - Dong Cu ferry; bus station on Road No. 1 - Tuyet Son pagoda ferry.
It is expected that there will be 110 electric cars, each with 8 to 14 seats; ensuring vehicle quality, safety, following the correct route, publicly listed prices, convenient circulation, avoiding causing inconvenience to tourists.
The price of the electric car service is 20,000 VND for one trip from the bus station to the Yen stream ferry area. The ticket price for the scenic spot is 120,000 VND/person, the round-trip ferry ticket price for the Thien Tru - Huong Tich route is 85,000 VND/person. The round-trip ferry ticket price for the Thanh Son - Long Van route is 65,000 VND/person.
