Visiting and presenting gifts to outstanding policy families on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification (April 30, 1975 - April 30, 2025), Comrade Pham Anh Tuan, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, kindly inquired about their health and family life and expressed his deep gratitude to the policy families for their great contributions to the struggle for independence and national defense.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan wished the family and relatives good health; at the same time hoped that the families would preserve and promote revolutionary traditions, overcome difficulties, set good examples in implementing the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies, and educate the younger generation in work and study, contributing positively to the local socio-economic development.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan inspected households receiving support to build and repair new houses in Van Canh town. According to the report of the Van Canh District People's Committee, the whole district has 419 households building and repairing houses. To date, 100% of households have started construction, 230 houses have been completed. The remaining houses have completed 80% of the work. The goal is to complete the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses in the district by the end of May 2025.

To support families, the district has mobilized more social resources to provide additional assistance to some households in difficult circumstances who are unable to pay for house construction and repair.

Through the on-site inspection, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan praised and highly appreciated the initiative of Van Canh district in implementing the program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses. At the same time, he emphasized that this is an important task with profound humanitarian significance, contributing to ensuring social security. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested Van Canh district to continue to closely follow the program implementation plan in the area, in which the locality needs to focus on supporting households in real difficulty, especially policy families and poor households with no ability to respond. In addition, the district needs to proactively remove obstacles in disbursement, mobilize more resources from socialization and ensure the quality of housing projects.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the district to classify poor and near-poor households that are still of working age, ensure their health, coordinate with relevant departments of the province to organize vocational training, introduce suitable jobs, and ensure the goal of sustainable poverty reduction. Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Pham Anh Tuan affirmed that Binh Dinh province has been mobilizing the participation of the entire political system, with the highest determination to complete the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the province by May 2025.
