Binh Dinh inaugurates the project of the connecting road from the center of An Nhon town to the coastal road west of Thi Nai lagoon

The inauguration ceremony was held in a combination of live and online formats simultaneously in all three regions of the North - Central - South.

According to reports from ministries, sectors and localities, 80 projects were started and inaugurated on this occasion, with a total investment of about 445,000 billion VND, of which the total start-up capital was 305,000 billion VND, the total capital of inaugurated projects was 140,000 billion VND. State budget capital was 185,000 billion VND; non-budget capital was 260,000 billion VND. Of which, there were 40 projects in the transport sector; 12 industrial and civil construction projects, 12 educational projects, 9 socio-cultural projects, 5 public health projects and 2 irrigation projects.

In Binh Dinh, the project of the connecting route from the center of An Nhon town to the coastal road west of Thi Nai lagoon passes through Binh Dinh ward, An Nhon town and Phuoc Hung, Phuoc Quang, Phuoc Hiep, Phuoc Son communes, Tuy Phuoc district; with a length of about 9.4km, designed according to the standards of a grade III plain road with a design speed of 80km/h, a 22m wide roadbed, a 19m wide asphalt concrete road surface with 4 lanes for motor vehicles and 2 lanes for rudimentary vehicles. The total investment of the project is more than 1,043 billion VND.

The route connects from the center of An Nhon town to the coastal road west of Thi Nai lagoon.

The project is of particular importance in the province’s transport infrastructure development strategy. The completed route will not only help shorten travel time, increase connectivity between An Nhon town, Tuy Phuoc district and the northern area of ​​Quy Nhon city, but also open up new development space to the west of Thi Nai lagoon, creating favorable conditions to attract investment and promote local socio-economic development.

Started in March 2022, the project has undergone more than 3 years of construction with many difficulties, especially in site clearance compensation. However, with the strong direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Committee and the close coordination between departments, branches, localities and the efforts of the investor and contractors, the project has been completed on schedule, ensuring the quality according to the requirements.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang said that the project was chosen to hold an online inauguration and groundbreaking ceremony along with large-scale, national-level projects across the country to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, showing the significance and importance of this project. And this is also the pride of the Party Committee, government and people of Binh Dinh to participate in contributing to the country's important event, contributing to the country's development, entering a new era, the era of national development.

In order for the project to be put into operation and promote investment efficiency, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang requested the Investor, Departments, branches, localities, contractors and units managing and exploiting the route to perform well the management, warranty, maintenance and use of the project; complete investment settlement procedures according to the provisions of law.

Speaking at the ceremony, with the "lightning-fast, bold" spirit of the historic April days of 1975, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh officially announced the groundbreaking and inauguration of 80 key national projects and works and large, important works of the Central and localities across the country in 2025.

The Prime Minister requested that, for the projects and works being inaugurated, ministries, branches, localities that are the project management agencies and investors urgently organize operations and exploitation to maximize investment efficiency.

Localities direct agencies and units to continue to care for the material and spiritual lives of people, especially families who have given up land for the project, ensuring that people have better living conditions and can settle down; make the most of the advantages of the projects to plan and develop new spaces to promote local socio-economic development in an inclusive and comprehensive manner; leaving no one behind.

For projects that have started construction, investors and contractors urgently mobilize equipment and human resources to immediately implement the projects, striving to complete ahead of schedule, ensure quality, avoid capital overruns, put them into operation soon, and promote investment efficiency.

Localities must focus on site clearance; guide investors and contractors to quickly resolve procedures related to material mines and waste dumping to proactively implement projects according to plan and goals.
