At the festival, delegates and people of Tia Lo A and B villages, Noong U commune together reviewed the 94-year tradition of building and growing of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the role of the Front in the new period; listened to reports on the situation of the great national unity bloc and the results of implementing patriotic emulation campaigns and movements in the community in 2024.
Tia Lo A and B villages have 100% of the population being Mong ethnic people (157 households, more than 780 people); the poverty rate of the village is 40.76%. In recent years, the people of the two villages have always been united and well implemented the Party's guidelines and policies, the State's laws and policies; promoted the spirit of solidarity to well implement the 5 contents of the campaign "All people unite to build a cultural life in residential areas" and achieved some outstanding results. The cultivated area in 2024 increased by 3.26 hectares compared to the previous year; propaganda and mobilization work were well carried out to mobilize people to protect the forest area assigned for management; every year, the village receives more than 100 million VND in payments for forest environmental services. Currently, the village is actively innovating, developing community tourism, developing the economy from tourism and services.
Speaking with the cadres and people of Tia Lo A and B villages, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do acknowledged and commended the results achieved by the cadres and people of the two villages in the past year. Faced with the increasingly high demands of the cause of national construction and defense, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the cadres and people of Tia Lo village to continue promoting the great solidarity among ethnic groups, performing well the political tasks in the area; actively participating in movements and campaigns organized by authorities and organizations at all levels.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the people of the two villages to effectively implement the socio-economic development program, specifically agricultural and forestry production, and implement trees with high economic value; at the same time, they are determined to overcome difficulties to build a community tourism village. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested the people of the two villages to continue to preserve, conserve and promote traditional cultural beauty to develop tourism but also resolutely fight against bad customs such as early marriage and incestuous marriage. Hopefully, the people of Tia Lo A and B villages will promote the spirit of self-confidence, self-reliance, self-reliance, rise up to overcome difficulties, determination and aspiration to escape poverty, enrich their families and enrich society.
On this occasion, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Thanh Do presented gifts to congratulate and encourage the people of Tia Lo A and B villages; the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province presented gifts to 5 prestigious people in Noong U commune; Noong U commune leaders presented certificates of merit to households achieving the title of cultural family for 3 consecutive years.
