Chairman of Dak Nong Provincial People's Committee requested clarification on slow disbursement project

On the morning of September 27, the People's Committee of Dak Nong province held a 2-level online conference of the Steering Committee for implementing national target programs and promoting the disbursement progress of the public investment capital plan for 2024.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi chaired the conference; Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Le Van Chien and Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ton Thi Ngoc Hanh attended.

In the first 9 months of the year, the rate of investment capital disbursement in Dak Nong is still low.

Opening the conference, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi emphasized that there is not much time left in 2024, investors need to focus on clarifying which projects cannot be disbursed or are disbursed slowly.

In addition to the bauxite problem, the districts that do not have problems need to clarify why they cannot implement it. Particularly for the 3 national target programs, which projects cannot be implemented, which projects need to be transferred resources, must be clearly stated.

Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed investors to clarify the reasons for the project's slow disbursement.

We must be honest with each other about both subjective and objective aspects and responsibilities. For the remaining 3 months of the year, we must clearly state how much money has been disbursed.

"For the three national target programs, no one forces us to do anything wrong. Therefore, projects and components that cannot be disbursed must be proposed to the Provincial People's Committee to return the source to the Central Government immediately," Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Ho Van Muoi directed.

As of September 11, 2024, Dak Nong disbursed investment of VND 1,234 billion, reaching 37% of the plan. Particularly, the 3 national target programs disbursed VND 1,555 billion, reaching 50.7% of the assigned plan.
