Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang works in Tan Son district

On May 21, Comrade Bui Van Quang - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and inspected the implementation of socio -economic development tasks in the first 5 months of 2024; the progress of implementing a number of public investment projects and community tourism development models in Tan Son district. In the first 5 months of 2024, with the united efforts of the entire political system, business community and people, the socio-economy of Tan Son district has achieved positive results: Budget revenue in the area is estimated at nearly 43 billion VND, exceeding the assigned estimate by 13%; public investment projects are implemented in accordance with regulations; the disbursement rate of public investment capital reaches over 50%...

Checking the progress of the project of connecting traffic routes to develop tourism between Long Coc tea hills and Xuan Son National Park; surveying the routes connecting Xuan Son National Park; the community tourism model in Long Coc, Dong Son, Xuan Son communes and working with the leaders of Tan Son district, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang highly appreciated the efforts of Tan Son district in socio-economic development in the first 5 months of 2024 and emphasized: The province's orientation for Tan Son is to develop forestry economy, service tourism, especially community tourism to improve people's lives. Assign Tan Son district to preside over and coordinate with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to develop a project on community tourism development, in which people must be the main subject. The project is built in the direction of taking Xuan Son National Park as the core, the central point, from there expanding and connecting to typical tourist destinations of ethnic minorities in mountainous areas of Long Coc, Dong Son communes... to diversify tourism types, increase the length of stay, visit and use of local tourism services. Along with infrastructure investment, the locality also needs to do a good job of propaganda and mobilization so that people can proactively participate in community tourism. From there, cultural tourism is linked with the development of agricultural products, small-scale industry, OCOP products serving tourism and preserving typical cultural values in tourist areas and destinations; so that ethnic minorities in the area can benefit from tourism activities in their own localities and villages.

Regarding the resettlement area of Du hamlet, Xuan Son commune, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed with the district's proposal to establish and implement the Project on building a traditional cultural village associated with community tourism development; requested the district to coordinate with departments and branches to study and calculate the arrangement of the remaining area of the resettlement area in accordance with the overall planning of Xuan Son National Park, ensuring long-term stability of life for the people. The remaining land areas that have not been allocated for resettlement will be auctioned for service land; traditional houses will be built according to a common model.

Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Quang and the working delegation inspected the investment progress of the project of the Road connecting the Long Coc tea hill tourism development - Xuan Son National Park.

Basically agreeing with the district's proposal on the investment policy for the road connecting Vo Mieu commune, Thanh Son district to Xuan Son National Park in the period of 2026-2030, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee affirmed: The establishment of an investment project to build this road will contribute to completing inter-regional traffic infrastructure, serving socio-economic development, creating leverage to attract businesses to invest and develop tourism in Xuan Son National Park. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also gave instructions related to the proposal to build Suoi To Forest Ranger Station to strengthen the protection of the forest bordering Son La and Hoa Binh provinces; invest in an irrigation system combined with clean water supply in the cluster of Lai Dong, Kiet Son, Tan Son communes; complete the infrastructure system of Tan Son district center including: Traffic roads, squares, green parks, regulating lakes... to propose Tan Phu commune to meet the town criteria.
