Also at the opening ceremony, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Hung awarded certificates of 03 Hai Duong province's culinary dishes honored as Typical Vietnamese Cuisine in the period of 2022-2024 to Hai Duong city with rice rolls and green bean cakes, Tu Ky district with rươi sausage. And representatives of the 3 honored dishes: Mr. Nguyen Duc Hoi - Chairman of the Hai Duong Green Bean Cake Association; Ms. Nguyen Thi Xuan - Owner of rice rolls business on Pham Hong Thai street (Hai Duong city); Mr. Nguyen Manh Toan - Toan Chef Restaurant and Ms. Pham Thi Nhai - Hai Nam rươi processing facility (Tu Ky).

The Culinary Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week takes place from February 25 to 27, 2024 (ie January 16 to 18, Giap Thin year) with the participation of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, Provincial Tourism Association; Department of Industry and Trade, Department of Agriculture and Rural Development; 12 districts, towns and cities of Hai Duong province and neighboring provinces: Lao Cai, Hung Yen and Bac Giang.
At the event, there were 43 booths displaying nearly 150 typical products, rich in products, diverse in designs, and high quality. Of which, there were 7 booths promoting and introducing cuisine of Hai Duong and other provinces and cities nationwide; 12 booths introducing typical cuisine and agricultural products of enterprises inside and outside the province; 24 booths introducing OCOP products, tourism, traditional craft villages of Hai Duong province and provinces in the Red River Delta.

During the week, visitors can also enjoy Hai Duong's unique traditional art forms, such as: ca tru singing, van singing, cheo singing and folk games. The 2024 Culinary Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week is one of the events to stimulate Hai Duong tourism development and is an activity in the series of events of the 2024 National Tourism Year, gradually connecting and building the Hai Duong tourism brand.

At the 2024 Hai Duong Province Food Culture, Tourism and Trade Promotion Week, in addition to food booths, there will also be performances and promotions of dishes and restaurant booths introducing cuisine of Hai Duong province and regions across the country; Ao Dai fashion show with the theme "Spring" Ao Dai collections "Xuan Dan" by designer Dang Linh Anh, the "Traditional Ao Dai" collection of the Trade Union and "Ao Dai with the theme of Spring flowers" of the Provincial Labor Federation.
