President Vo Van Thuong offers incense at Tan Trao Special National Relic Site

Continuing the working program in Tuyen Quang, on the morning of September 24, President Vo Van Thuong and the working delegation respectfully offered incense and flowers to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at Na Nua Pavilion, in the Tan Trao Special National Relic Site.

The delegation included Secretary of Tuyen Quang Provincial Party Committee Chau Van Lam, leaders of the Office of the President and Tuyen Quang province.

In the atmosphere of the historic September days, remembering the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, before the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, President Vo Van Thuong and the delegation observed a moment of silence, commemorating and expressing infinite gratitude for his contributions, the genius Leader, the great Teacher of the Vietnamese Revolution, who devoted his whole life to national independence, national reunification, freedom and happiness of the people.

Na Nua hut is located in Na Nua forest, in Tan Lap village, Tan Trao commune, Son Duong district, where Uncle Ho lived and worked from the end of May to August 22, 1945, leading the August General Uprising to seize power throughout the country, and on September 2, 1945, President Ho Chi Minh read the Declaration of Independence, giving birth to the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

President Vo Van Thuong and the delegation offered incense at Tan Trao Communal House, located in the west of Tan Lap village, Tan Trao commune, where the National Congress, the predecessor of the Vietnamese National Assembly, took place. Here, on August 16 and 17, 1945, the National Congress met to approve the general uprising policy to seize power and 10 major policies of the Viet Minh, electing the Vietnam National Liberation Committee (ie the provisional government) with comrade Ho Chi Minh as President.

President Vo Van Thuong offered flowers and incense at the Memorial Site of revolutionary predecessors at the Tan Trao Special National Historical Relic Site, excellent students of President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted their lives to the cause of national liberation and reunification.

The President and the delegation offered incense in memory of President Ton Duc Thang at the National Assembly Standing Committee Relic Site, Dong Ma village, Trung Yen commune - the residence and workplace of the National Assembly Standing Committee of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam from 1952 to 1954.

In Tan Trao, President Vo Van Thuong visited and presented gifts to a number of families with meritorious services to the country, where Uncle Ho and General Vo Nguyen Giap lived and worked during the historic period of 1945.

On the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2023) and National Day (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2023) in August 2023, Tan Trao Special National Relic Site welcomed more than 13,000 visitors, bringing the total number of visitors to the Relic Site from the beginning of the year to the end of August to nearly 461,000. This morning, there were still many visitors to the Relic Site.

Also on the morning of September 24, in Luong Vuong commune, Tuyen Quang city, President Vo Van Thuong attended the groundbreaking ceremony of the Tuyen Quang Provincial General Hospital construction project. The hospital has a total investment of nearly 1,797 billion VND, replacing the current General Hospital which has been in operation for 78 years and is seriously degraded. The new General Hospital is a grade 1 provincial hospital, with a scale of 1,000 beds, on an area of ​​15 hectares.
