Vietnam is emerging as the world's most attractive destination in the semiconductor industry. The biggest names in the world's semiconductor ecosystem have chosen Vietnam to invest in activities from research and development (R&D) to production and manufacturing such as Nvidia, Intel, Samsung, Apple, Foxconn, Amkor, Synopsys, ... The Vietnamese government is also making great efforts to build policies and prepare resources to orient Vietnam to become one of the world's leading semiconductor industrial centers. In addition, in the context of businesses around the world accelerating in the digital transformation race, there is a huge demand for semiconductor chips in all industries and fields. Realizing that the semiconductor industry will bring many opportunities for Vietnamese digital technology enterprises in general and VINASA members in particular, especially in the stages of: Design, Testing, Cooperation with international enterprises, VINASA decided to establish the Vietnam Semiconductor Chip Industry Development Committee under the Association. This Committee was established to gather experts, businesses, and partners to promote the development of the semiconductor industry in Vietnam through the following activities: training and developing human resources; disseminating knowledge and experience; connecting and cooperating; R&D, thereby forming a force of businesses and experts participating in the global chip and semiconductor development ecosystem; mobilizing and connecting with authorities at all levels, creating incentives for domestic and international investors, contributing to promoting the semiconductor industry in Vietnam. Chairman of the VINASA Founding Council, Chairman of FPT Corporation Truong Gia Binh will directly participate in and direct the activities of the Committee.

Along with the orientation of participating in promoting the development of the semiconductor industry, at the VINASA 2024 strategic conference, the Association also agreed on 3 other strategic orientations for the activities of the Association and member enterprises in the coming time, including: Green digital transformation; promoting innovation through gathering resources to establish an Innovation Center; deploying the new service Digital Trust to help people, businesses, and organizations find addresses providing reliable services and solutions, building trust for consumers. With green transformation, VINASA believes that this will be the next wave with a tendency to develop rapidly and impact on a global scale, towards sustainable development. Green transformation is a new market that technology enterprises need to have full awareness, shift quickly to catch up with new trends, not only green transformation for businesses but also consulting on transformation for customers and partners. To promptly adapt to the ESG transformation wave, in 2024 VINASA will coordinate to develop specific plans and orientations to support businesses that need to access standards, systems, arrange solutions, and cooperate to connect into Solution Sets to help with green transformation, promote the Green and Digital dual growth strategy, and contribute to sustainable development.
