(GLO)- The Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board (Gia Lai Province) has proactively allocated capital, requiring construction units to focus on human resources and machinery to construct newly started projects, striving to complete before the set schedule.
In 2023, the Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board was assigned 19 construction investment projects from various sources. As of May 15, 11 projects were under construction, 5 transitional projects had been completed, 1 project was being appraised and approved for project adjustment, and 2 projects were being surveyed to prepare technical research reports.
Ia Ly Town Cultural House is one of the new projects that started construction in March 2023. Taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, Hoang Dung Gia Lai Construction One Member Co., Ltd. (Pleiku City) is mobilizing materials and human resources to construct items according to the design. Regarding the construction progress, Mr. Nguyen Trung Hai - Director of the Company - said: "Ia Ly Town Cultural House is a level III project, with a construction area of 633 m2 including 1 floor and auxiliary items. Currently, we have completed the foundation and frame, and are preparing to pour the concrete floor, with the construction volume reaching about 50%. With the current progress, we strive to complete the project by August, ahead of the planned schedule."

Recently, the Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board has requested construction units to speed up the construction progress of 2/5 inter-commune roads belonging to the district inter-commune road project including: Bien Ho-Chu Dang Ya Tourist Area road, road from Dak To Ve commune to Ha Tay commune, road from Ia Khuol commune to Ia Phi commune, road from Ia Ka commune to Ia Phi commune, road from Phu Hoa town to Nghia Hoa commune with a total investment of 100 billion VND. Mr. Dang Thai Huy - Director of the Management Board - informed: "From the allocated capital, the Management Board has carried out procedures to select contractors, started construction of 2 inter-commune roads from Dak To Ve to Ha Tay commune and Ia Ka inter-commune road to Ia Phi commune in November 2022. Up to now, these 2 roads have been basically completed and put into use. The remaining 3 inter-commune roads are in the budget approval stage, expected to start construction in August 2023.
Sharing his joy when the Ia Ka-Ia Phi inter-commune road was completed and put into use, Mr. Do Van Luan (village 1, Ia Ka commune) said: “Previously, this road was a dirt road, so people had many difficulties traveling and transporting agricultural products, especially during the rainy season. At the end of 2022, when the road was started, our people were very happy and supportive. Wherever the land was stuck, people voluntarily removed it immediately to facilitate the construction unit. Now, the road surface is up to 5.5 m wide, so traveling and transporting agricultural products is easy, everyone is very happy."

In 2023, the total investment capital for projects in Chu Pah district according to the plan is more than 89 billion VND. Up to now, the value of the volume of projects is estimated at 40.8 billion VND, the disbursement value is 22.7 billion VND. In the current general context, a number of projects assigned by the Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board are facing difficulties in capital sources. For example, the Chu Pah District traffic project with a total investment of 90 billion VND from the provincial budget, the start and completion time is in the period of 2021-2024. Currently, the project has completed the construction of the drainage system, roadbed, technical infrastructure, only the hot asphalt concrete pavement item remains. However, the capital allocated according to the 2021 plan for the project has only reached 45 billion VND. Therefore, the district proposed to allocate enough capital for the project, speed up the progress and complete it this year.
In further discussion with reporters, the Director of the Chu Pah District Construction Investment Project Management Board added: “For newly started projects that have been allocated capital, the Management Board proactively monitors the situation, urges and coordinates with construction units and supervision consultants to speed up the implementation progress, prioritizes resources to strive to complete before the assigned schedule. For projects under the national target program, the district has directed communes to speed up the preparation of detailed project plans. Immediately after the detailed plans are available, the Management Board will prepare documents and legal procedures for these projects according to the prescribed procedures.”
