Born and raised in a fishing village in the coastal area, Tran Van Manh (born in 1984, freelance artist in Ho Chi Minh City, recently moved his studio to his hometown in Quang Ngai) has a very special love for the sea. He decided to spend 12 days traveling along the coastal roads.

He shared that he had planned this trip for a long time. He had traveled the coastal route many times before, but mostly just passed by, rarely stopping for long.
"I didn't plan to go on this trip for 12 days or for any length of time, I just thought that I would go wherever I wanted," he said. In the picture is Phuoc Hai Freshwater Pass (Ba Ria - Vung Tau). This is a familiar place to the locals, with a wild and simple beauty.

In total he painted 13 pictures. Each picture has its own beauty of that land.
"It's a bit difficult to choose a special picture. Through these paintings, I want to preserve and convey the beautiful, wild and majestic images of the capes and fishing villages on the S-shaped strip of land of Vietnam so that young people can explore and preserve the wild and clean nature..."

When he arrived at Cu Lao Xanh (Quy Nhon), someone knew he wanted to camp and stay overnight, so they took him to a place with a beautiful, clean view and even gave him a bottle of mineral water. He was most impressed with Thao Nguyen rock beach. This place has beautiful rock beaches with open spaces, very suitable for camping.

His most memorable experience was exploring Vi Rong Cape (Binh Dinh). There was no way to get to the cape on Google Maps, so he hit a dead end more than three times. When he got there, he walked a few hundred meters to reach the cape.
The scene that appeared was a majestic and wild rock formation shaped like a Dragon's Fin, which made him exclaim: "Wow... Extremely wonderful, very, very cool".

The artist shared that traveling to the cape was very difficult because most of the roads were bumpy and difficult to travel. But when reaching the cape, we seemed to be opened up to beautiful, majestic scenes, seeing the vastness of the ocean.
In the photo is Dai Lanh Lighthouse (Phu Yen) - where dawn begins in Vietnam. This lighthouse is sometimes the place to welcome the first sunrise on the Vietnamese mainland.

Hoang Hau Beach is considered one of the most beautiful and famous beaches in Quy Nhon. In particular, this beach still retains its wild and majestic beauty.

Mr. Manh used to travel and paint in many places such as Hoi An, Da Lat, and places around Ho Chi Minh City. "Everywhere I went, people asked me what I was selling when they saw me riding on a broken motorbike full of stuff. It was so much fun," he said.
He said that if you want to travel and paint like him, you need to pack as light as possible for easy movement. In addition, you need to check the weather in advance at the location you want to paint to prepare suitable items.
