Official launch of the program 'bringing the world's leading minds' to Vietnam

The new feature of the VinFuture 2025 season is to expand the scale of the InnovaConnect science bridge program, inviting the world's leading scientists and experts to give lectures at research institutes and universities nationwide.

On January 14, VinFuture Foundation announced the launch of the 2025 VinFuture Prize season . Notably, in addition to organizing the annual prize, this year VinFuture Foundation plans to implement many scientific connection activities, including expanding the scale of the InnovaConnect scientific bridge program across research institutes and universities nationwide, bringing the world's leading minds to Vietnam.

The VinFuture Prize 2025 will officially accept nominations from today until 2:00 p.m. on April 17 (Vietnam time). The judging process will be completed in September, with the season 5 award ceremony scheduled to take place on the evening of December 6. Nominations submitted after this deadline will be automatically transferred for consideration for the 2026 season.

In addition to organizing the annual awards, this year, VinFuture Foundation will expand the scale of the InnovaConnect scientific bridge program for all institutes, universities, and research organizations nationwide that wish to establish relationships with the world's leading scientists and experts. The program aims to promote practical cooperation and sustainable development in the field of science and technology.

VinFuture Foundation will evaluate and select applications that meet the criteria of the InnovaConnect program. For selected applications, the foundation will sponsor the cost of inviting international scientists to Vietnam to participate in the InnovaConnect program.

The InnovaConnect program will be piloted from 2024 at a number of key universities in the Hanoi area: Hanoi University of Science and Technology, University of Natural Sciences - Vietnam National University, Hanoi, University of Public Health. InnovaConnect's seminars on the hottest global topics have attracted thousands of scientists and brought the world's leading minds to the Vietnamese scientific community.
