Quang Nam Provincial Government promotes thrift practice and anti-waste

Heads of provincial agencies, departments and branches, Chairmen of district-level People's Committees, and directors of provincial LLCs must ensure the unified implementation of goals and targets for practicing thrift and combating waste according to the Party's orientations and policies and laws on practicing thrift and combating waste.

Strictly comply with legal regulations related to the practice of thrift and anti-waste. Promote the role and responsibility of setting an example for the heads of agencies, organizations and units, and the responsibility of cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees in this work.

Relevant agencies and units continue to review, research and advise competent authorities to consider issuing new, amending and supplementing norms, standards, regimes, regulations and unit prices as a basis for implementation and improving the effectiveness of practicing thrift and combating waste.

The whole province strengthens state management in all fields, tightens discipline, thoroughly saves, fights waste; improves the efficiency of management and use of the state budget; saves in the use of public investment capital, use of public assets, management of land, resources, minerals, labor management, working time, etc.

All levels shall strengthen inspection and examination of the implementation of legal regulations in the fields according to the Law on Practicing Thrift and Combating Wastefulness and specialized laws; strengthen self-inspection and supervision of practicing thrift and combating waste.

The Department of Finance is assigned to be responsible for monitoring, guiding, checking and inspecting the implementation of legal regulations on practicing thrift and combating waste by agencies, units and localities.
