Hang Te Cho Waterfall is located in De Cho village of Mong people, in Lang Nhi commune, Tram Tau district, Yen Bai, bordering Son La province. With an altitude of 1,800m above sea level, the waterfall is hidden deep in the mountain, leaning against the vast primeval forest. The waterfall is considered the most majestic and dangerous on the Northwest tourist map. Hang Te Cho still retains its original wildness. Although the waterfall is dangerous, it cannot stop adventurous tourists with a passion for conquest. People often say that the waterfall is a challenge that makes those who have never conquered it eager, those who fail are always tormented and tormented. But those who succeed are ecstatic by the charming beauty of this place. The white waterfall flows down from above like a white silk strip standing out in the green forest. Coming closer, visitors will feel the cool steam rising to their faces. Along with that are layers of moss covering both sides of the waterfall. The white waterfall is so beautiful that it captivates people's hearts. Photo: Diep Huu Dat
Young man Diep Huu Dat (25 years old, Ta Xua), fondly recalls the charming appearance of Hang Te Cho waterfall. The male tourist shared that he traveled from the center of Van Chan district to Phinh Ho commune, the road was about 10km long. Although a bit winding and with many bends, the road was still relatively beautiful and easy to travel. The higher he went, the clearer the panoramic view of the district center with tiny houses hidden behind the trees. Dat and his group of friends rested at Phinh Ho, the next morning they started moving to the waterfall. The road to the waterfall was full of hardships and challenges. The road from Phinh Ho commune to Lang Nhi commune was only about 7km but was full of steep slopes full of rocks and many potholes. "The road was bad but it didn't make it difficult for us, the good drivers kept going tirelessly. Going up high, we could see the green winding terraced fields. It was worth the effort to climb all the way here," the young man said excitedly.Immerse yourself in the cool water at the foot of the waterfall. Photo: Diep Huu Dat
Arriving at Lang Nhi, it was time to struggle with the death road to enter De Cho village. The narrow road, only a few spans long, gradually climbed higher, making anyone who went there for the first time tremble with fear. On one side was a cliff, on the other side was a mountain cliff. After an hour of "crawling" on the dangerous road, Dat's group finally saw the waterfall in the distance emerging from the mist. Like a tiny thread in the middle of the vast green forest. "We had to walk about 1km more along the mountainside, wading through dangerous streams to reach the waterfall" - Huu Dat recounted. The closer we got, the clearer the sound of the waterfall became, making Dat's group even more excited and determined. Everyone was stunned when seeing the beauty of this majestic waterfall. The majestic beauty of Hang Te Cho waterfall. Photo: Diep Huu Dat
The water falls from a height of more than 50m straight down, white and smooth like the hair of a young girl in her twenties in the Northwest highlands. "This is one of the most beautiful and highest waterfalls I have ever been to in the Northwest. The water pours down like a waterfall, especially on sunny days you will see rainbows" - Diep Huu Dat said. The young man added that visitors should visit the waterfall during the dry season, around October to March of the following year. Avoid going during the rainy season, because the water from the waterfall falls down a lot at the foot of the waterfall, which is quite slippery and dangerous.Laodong.vn
