New Zealand Education Fair 2022 attracts many Vietnamese parents and learners

Education New Zealand (ENZ) in collaboration with the Embassy and Consulate General of New Zealand in Vietnam organized the New Zealand Education Fair 2023 in Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi on October 14 and 15, respectively. This is an opportunity for students to access the most official and updated information about studying in New Zealand, along with preferential policies for international students such as scholarships.

The event is expected to bring together more than 30 leading New Zealand education institutions at different levels, with the participation of the New Zealand Immigration Department and many guest speakers including experts, celebrities, former international students and parents whose children have studied in New Zealand. The activities are designed to alternate between experiences and in-depth 1:1 consultation to answer students' questions about future study and career options.

Vietnamese students and parents can attend seminars on how to effectively invest in studying abroad for their children, along with sharing sessions on preparing English for the study abroad journey, how to utilize English skills to integrate into a new life abroad by Mr. Nguyen Thai Duong (a teacher famous for his method of teaching English through music) and Mr. Luyen Quang Kien (the first Vietnamese person to achieve 9.0 IELTS 4 skills).

New Zealand Education Fair 2023 aims to empower learners to confidently plan their study path

Ahead of the event, Ms. Tredene Dobson, New Zealand Ambassador to Vietnam, said: "New Zealand Education Fair 2023 will be an opportunity for Vietnamese parents and students to learn about how New Zealand education trains future generations to become outstanding individuals, not only in Vietnam but also globally."

Mr. Ben Burrowes, ENZ's Regional Director for Asia, shared that recent surveys show that up to 86% of Vietnamese international students are satisfied with their time studying in New Zealand.

"Therefore, the event's activities are designed to provide accurate and complete information that Vietnamese students are interested in. Thereby, helping them have a closer look at New Zealand's education system, which not only provides an ideal learning environment but also creates conditions for learners to explore new opportunities and develop themselves," added Mr. Ben Burrowes.
