Hon Trung is a small island with an area of about 2 hectares. This island is offshore of Con Dao archipelago, Con Dao district, Ba Ria - Vung Tau province.

Tourists take a canoe to visit from afar, not allowed to approach or climb the island so as not to affect the seabird sanctuary on Hon Trung Island.
On Hon Trung there is almost no vegetation, only wild seabirds of all kinds come to live and choose as their territory with more than 80 species, most of which are swallows.
From a distance, this rocky island looks white due to the accumulation of bird droppings over time.
