In addition to salary, bonuses, and benefits, employees are also cared for in terms of their mental well-being, with HDBank's guiding principle being that it must be a happy workplace.
According to a survey by Navigos Search, a recruitment services group in Vietnam, one of the key factors for businesses to retain employees is the work environment, in addition to salary and company culture.
At HDBank, the bank's leadership and human resources department also pay special attention to these factors to attract and retain employees. As of June 30th, the entire banking system has more than 17,000 employees working at 347 transaction points and tens of thousands of point-of-sale (POS) locations nationwide. Of these, 39% have more than 5 years of experience.
Mr. Pham Quoc Thanh, General Director of HDBank, said that bank employees receive comprehensive care in terms of salary and benefits, as well as mental well-being and corporate culture, with the motto: HDBank must be a happy workplace. As a result, employees tend to stay with the bank long-term and dedicate themselves wholeheartedly to their work.

Employees are also continuously trained and retrained.
To harness its talent potential, the bank also organizes incentive programs such as the "Golden Coin Award"; a program honoring outstanding long-serving employees; and the "HDBank Next Leaders" program, which internally selects key positions based on the principle of linking individual career advancement with the bank's overall development. In addition, in 2022 and the first six months of 2023 alone, the HDBank Training Center conducted 895 training courses for its employees.
