The top spot belongs to a restaurant on the Lower East Side in New York City, USA. In fact, the champion - Una Pizza Napoletana restaurant only opened in March 2022.
They have surpassed competitors around the world , including pizzerias in Naples, Italy - the land of the world's top pizza connoisseurs.

Three other New York pizzerias made the 2024 list, out of 101 restaurants (despite the award's “top 50” title).
Still, Italy dominates the list with 41 restaurants, while the US has a total of 15 honored locations. The city of Naples also leads the list with 20 locations.
Although not exactly known for their pizza parlors, this year South Korea, Bolivia and India also made the list.
