According to the 2024 Enrollment Plan announced by the University of Commerce (TMU) on March 1, the school will enroll 4,950 students for 38 training programs.
Of which, 8 programs belong to the group of international career-oriented programs, including Business Administration, Commercial Marketing, International Certified Integrated Accounting, Logistics and Import-Export, International Trade, Finance - Commercial Banking, Corporate Human Resource Management, Hotel Management. These programs are built on the school's high-quality, standard programs.
In addition, the school opened two more standard programs: Banking and Financial Technology and Digital Business, increasing the total enrollment target by 100 compared to last year.

The University of Commerce maintains 5 stable admission methods, including direct admission according to regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training; considering the 2024 high school graduation exam scores; considering three-year academic records (only applicable to students of specialized schools); admission based on the results of the test to assess capacity and thinking; and combined admission.
In which, the combined admission method divides candidates into three groups.
The first and second groups combine international certificates with graduation exam scores or school records. Acceptable certificates include IELTS 5.5, TOEFL iBT 50, HSK4, TCF 400, DELF B2; SAT 1000, ACT 20 or higher. Certificate scores will be converted and combined with Math scores and one of the following subjects: Literature, Physics, Chemistry for admission consideration.

The third group combines excellent student awards (third prize at provincial level or higher) with graduation exam scores. The admission score is the sum of three exam subjects plus bonus points (1-5 points), depending on the award level, converted to a 30-point scale.
Candidates who win prizes in any subject will be considered for admission to the corresponding program group:
The expected minimum score for the transcript review method is 25, for the transcript review method combined with international certificates it is 21; the remaining 20 points.
Except for the method of using graduation exam scores according to the general plan of the Ministry of Education and Training, the school accepts applications for admission by other methods from May 1 to June 10.
Last year, the benchmark score for the University of Commerce ranged from 24.5 to 27. The three majors of Commercial Marketing, International Business and Digital Marketing all had the highest scores. Next were the benchmark scores for Chinese Language - 26.9, Brand Management - 26.8 and International Economics - 26.7.
The majors with a benchmark score of 24.5 are Business Administration (Business French) and Hotel Management.
