According to the Hai Duong Provincial Statistics Office, the province's industrial production index in March increased by 27.6% over the previous month and by 13.5% over the same period in 2023. In the first quarter of 2024, the province's industrial production index increased by 13.4% over the same period last year.

In the first quarter of 2024, the province's industrial production had a high growth rate, relatively even among industries when 25 out of 28 industries increased. Of which, 18 industries grew by over 10%. Some industries with large proportions had high growth indexes, greatly affecting the overall growth of the whole industry. These were electrical equipment manufacturing (up 40.5%), electricity production and distribution (up 17.3%), motor vehicle manufacturing (up 16.4%), electronic product manufacturing (up 9.8%)...
