Only study when you love it.

Mr. Tony Ngo, co-founder of Everest Education Center, part of the development team of VISPARK - Singapore's math thinking platform in Vietnam, frankly said: "Parents should review whether their children are truly passionate or not. If because most other parents let their children learn math thinking, you also let your children go to school with a spirit of coercion, it will be very stressful for both the children and the parents. But if you let your children try it out, they will increasingly love it, be passionate, and confident, and from there can have dreams and career orientation, then that is a very good thing and should be encouraged."

Mr. Pham Chi My, a teacher who trains for the competency assessment exam in Ho Chi Minh City, commented: "Each person needs to consider whether, after being consulted about the training program and the development roadmap that the center outlines for their child, the parents understand that roadmap or not? If parents understand, they should let their children study. Because only then will they know whether their child is following that roadmap during the study period, whether their thinking has changed for the better or not..." The teacher in Ho Chi Minh City also pointed out a basic mistake of many parents: they think that the higher the training cost, the better the program. But that is not the case.

Mr. Pham Chau Lich, Professional Director of the American Mathnasium VN system, said that thinking is demonstrated and evaluated not only through the results of students' tests, but also through the ability to present their understanding, thinking, and reasoning to solve problems in the most optimal way. Therefore, parents who want to find an effective math thinking program for their children can base on the following factors: First, children can interact, exchange, discuss, question and answer, and present with teachers as much as possible. Next, children learn and do exercises that are thoughtful and in a thoughtful way - not just calculating to get results.

According to Mr. Lich, the core of thinking math is to help students develop their thinking through learning math, so parents can accompany students by creating more conditions and joy in learning for them.

Parent Bui Thi Cam Tien, with children aged 6 and 8, residing in Ba Diem commune, Hoc Mon district, Ho Chi Minh City, said: "My child was introduced to basic math thinking in kindergarten, so I found an additional math thinking class for my child to study. There are many online math thinking programs, I think parents should learn and let their children try it out before officially studying."

Ms. Nhu, parent of Anh Nhien (7 years old), Ho Chi Minh City, said that parents should observe, listen and watch for small changes in their child to see if the child really likes and is suitable for the program he is studying.
