This afternoon (June 30), the authorities of Binh Tan District (HCMC) are blocking off and examining the scene of the fire at a 4-story house located in alley 256, Lien Khu 4-5 Street, Binh Hung Hoa B Ward.

Earlier, at around 11:15 a.m. the same day, people discovered smoke coming from inside the house. At that time, the door to the house was closed. People ran to shout and knock on the door to inform the people inside.

Hearing the call, the whole family of 2 adults and 1 child helped each other up to the roof. Here, they were instructed to climb over to the neighbor's house and escape safely.

The fire from the ground floor of the house quickly spread. Although people tried to break the door and bring fire extinguishers to help put out the fire, they were unsuccessful.

Receiving the information, the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team - Binh Tan District Police, Fire Fighting Team of Region 4 - Ho Chi Minh City Police were present to control the fire, preventing the fire from spreading to adjacent houses.

Although the fire did not cause any human casualties, it damaged many properties inside the house. The cause and damage are currently being clarified.
