A Korean real estate company and a Malaysian tycoon want to negotiate to receive the transfer of a project related to Ms. Truong My Lan.

Korean enterprise wants to buy back 3 projects of Van Thinh Phat
In a recent document sent to the Ho Chi Minh City High People's Court, APM Luxe Company Limited (Korea) said it is "very interested in investing in projects of Van Thinh Phat Group".
Specifically, this Korean tycoon is interested in 3 projects.
Firstly, the Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi complex project at Nha Rong - Khanh Hoi port area, wards 12, 13 and 18, district 4, Ho Chi Minh City. The project area is about 31.5 hectares.
This project has the function of investing in the construction of mixed-use high-rise housing.
Second, the Mui Den Do urban park and housing project in Phu Thuan ward, District 7, Ho Chi Minh City with a scale of more than 117 hectares. The project's function is to invest in the construction of a park, commercial center, hotel office, exhibition conference and mixed high-rise residential area.
Third, the Vinhomes Metropolis commercial center, office and luxury apartment complex project (Capital Place building) at 29 Lieu Giai, Ba Dinh district, Hanoi has a scale of 3.5 hectares.
APM Luxe has requested the Ho Chi Minh City court to consider and create conditions for the company to approach and negotiate to receive the transfer or cooperate in investment on the principle of harmony, benefiting all parties, ensuring compliance with Vietnamese law.
About APM Luxe Co., Ltd., this is a company established under Korean law with a certificate from the host country since 2011.
The company is headquartered in Seoul, South Korea. APM Luxe is represented by Song See Yong, the company's chairman.
Mr. Song See Yong's company operates in the real estate sector. There are currently no recorded projects implemented under this Korean brand in Vietnam.
However, this enterprise appeared at an event organized by Hanoi in 2018. At this event, a memorandum of understanding was signed between the Hanoi People's Committee and APM Luxe with the content that this company will research and propose to build a complex of wholesale trade centers combined with product display in Hanoi.

In addition to the above-mentioned Korean enterprise, media reports on the trial of the Van Thinh Phat case also said that Mr. Vincent Tan wanted to invest in the 6A project with an area of 26 hectares in Binh Chanh, Ho Chi Minh City.

With this project, the buyer said that after deducting expenses, there is about 20,000 billion VND left for Ms. Lan to remedy the consequences.
About Mr. Vincent Tan, he is known as the founder of Berjaya Corporation, a famous multi-industry business group in Malaysia.
On its website, Berjaya Group said that in 2023, Mr. Vincent Tan moved from the role of chairman to advisor to the board of directors.
