According to Quang Ninh Electricity Company, with the support of human resources from the Northern Power Corporation, the unit is focusing on fixing the problem at the 110kV Ha Tu transformer station (Ha Long City). It is expected that by September 14 at the latest, the 110kV Ha Tu transformer station will be back in operation.

The 110kV Ha Tu transformer station is responsible for supplying electricity to the coal industry and Ha Long City. Due to the impact of the storm, 4 110kV iron poles were broken, causing a power outage to most customers in Ha Long City. In recent days, the Company has urgently worked with units of the Northern Power Corporation to dismantle the broken iron poles and is currently rebuilding new poles.
Immediately after the 110kV poles are erected, the Company will restore operation and re-energize the 110kV Ha Tu transformer station by September 14 at the latest.
Thus, restoring power supply to the 110kV Ha Tu transformer station will help all customers in the central area of Ha Long City to have electricity again soon.

As of 2:00 p.m. on September 13, Quang Ninh Electricity Company had energized 27/30 110kV transformer stations, 153/180 medium voltage lines and restored power to about 290,000/460,000 customers. Notably, 100% of key customers and FDI enterprises in the province have been supplied with power.

To achieve this positive result, in addition to the proactive support of units in the Northern Power Corporation and the Central Power Corporation, in recent days, the Electricity sector has received a lot of affection and encouragement from the people of Quang Ninh through many practical actions such as: Providing drinking water and meals to the foot of the construction site, supporting the clearing of fallen trees...
