According to NBC News , OpenAI CEO Sam Altman, 38, confirmed his marriage to his partner Oliver Mulherin in a beachside ceremony in San Francisco on January 11.
Previously, on social network X, a photo appeared of Sam Altman and Oliver Mulherin holding a wedding in a chapel with palm trees and about 10 guests at an undisclosed location.

Sam Altman's partner, Oliver Mulherin, is a software engineer. Last year, Altman and Mulherin attended a White House dinner hosted by US President Joe Biden for Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Sam Altman is the father of the popular AI application ChatGPT, he is one of the influential people in the global technology world. He co-founded OpenAI in 2015 and served as the company's CEO until he was unexpectedly fired by the board of directors in November 2023.
He was reinstated days later, after more than 700 OpenAI employees signed a petition forcing the board to reinstate him. Time magazine named him "CEO of the Year" in 2023.
Mr. Altman was born in Australia and is a software engineer who graduated from the University of Melbourne (Australia). From August 2020 to January 2022, Mulherin worked at Meta Group, Facebook's parent company, as a software engineer.
The couple has been relatively private about their relationship and rarely shares information about each other. In a rare disclosure in September 2023, the OpenAI CEO said that the two were in San Francisco and wanted to have children in the near future.
