The grassroots union of Tuyen Quang Iron and Steel Company Limited signed a collective labor agreement for employees.

Ms. Chau Thi Thu, Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor, said: “Currently, 100% of state-owned enterprises and 88% of non-state-owned enterprises organize labor conferences. Enterprises that organize these conferences have their own characteristics, operations, production and business models, and build better lives for workers. With the role of the Provincial Federation of Labor, we have been directing trade unions at all levels to focus and support the grassroots to organize labor conferences. All for the benefit of enterprises, for the benefit of workers.”

Participating in the conference of workers organized by Seshin VN2 One Member Co., Ltd. in coordination with the Trade Union, the workers heard the Company's leaders share the difficulties of the company in not being able to recruit workers to meet production and business needs, while the orders received were difficult orders, requiring technical requirements, high product quality, short delivery time... At the same time, the workers reflected many contents related to the welfare regime such as: working environment, shift meals... The Company and the Trade Union coordinated to clarify that, within their capabilities, the enterprise will also improve some proposals so that workers can feel secure in production.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Hong Van, Seshin VN2 One Member Co., Ltd. said: “I think today's conference is an opportunity for me and everyone to express our thoughts and reflect on the limitations in the working process. I am very satisfied with the content that everyone reflected to the company, which was received and resolved satisfactorily by the union, creating trust with the workers. In addition, I and other workers also grasp the production plan and difficulties of the enterprise to share, work together to overcome difficulties, and build the company to develop more and more."

Ms. Pham Thuy Quynh, Chairwoman of the grassroots trade union of Green Home Flooring Co., Ltd., Thang Quan Industrial Park (Yen Son) shared: "In response to the wishes of the workers, the trade union will constantly innovate the content and methods of operation, actively research and find effective methods of operation at the grassroots level to take care of the lives of workers, contributing to motivating workers to feel secure in production and contribute to building an increasingly strong enterprise, building harmonious labor relations".

Through labor conferences, in 2024, grassroots trade unions proactively coordinated with the government and professional organizations to jointly implement the Grassroots Democracy Charter. 100% of state-owned enterprises and 86% of non-state enterprises have developed Grassroots Democracy Charter; signed 6 new collective labor agreements, increasing the rate of signed collective labor agreements to 92.5%; 11 grassroots trade unions in enterprises proposed and negotiated with employers to adjust the value of shift meals, to date 74.4% of enterprises with trade unions have implemented shift meals for employees.

It can be seen that the workers' conference is an opportunity for workers to promote their direct democratic rights; create conditions for them to know about the production and business results of the enterprise; have opinions and recommendations related to the rights, interests, obligations and responsibilities of workers in participating in the management and development of the enterprise. Thereby, ensuring harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations in the enterprise, implementing democracy within the legal framework, building a sustainable enterprise.
