BTO - On the afternoon of September 28, the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phan Thiet city held the launching ceremony of Ca Ty Water Sports Club.

The club has 20 members, chaired by Mr. To Hoai Nam. At the launching ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Director of the Center for Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phan Thiet city said: Since "National Tourism Year 2023 - Green Convergence of Binh Thuan", the cultural, artistic, physical education and sports movement in the city has developed strongly. Up to now, Phan Thiet has 12 clubs operating regularly. Of which, with sports activities on the river, this is the first water sports club in the city.
In order for the club to develop further and become a member of the Provincial Water Sports Association, Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc requested that the club regularly maintain training and develop members. At the same time, it is noted that during the training process, members must comply with the regulations set forth by the Club's Board of Directors, such as having a membership card, knowing how to swim, having rescue equipment, and organizing technical and safety training sessions on the river to limit injuries...
On the Ca Ty River, the section flowing through Xuan Tai Village, Phong Nam Commune will be the place where members of the Ca Ty Water Sports Club gather to practice and welcome new members who share the same passion for kayaking, paddle boarding, paddle boarding, etc. The club is currently open for free, from 7am to 5pm every day. In addition to being a place to improve health and spiritual life, members will also organize activities to collect garbage on the river section, in order to protect the environment on the Ca Ty River.
In the current context, the development of tourism associated with sports and entertainment has been implemented and implemented effectively by many localities. The activities of the Ca Ty Water Sports Club are the premise to diversify tourism products to serve the people and tourists in the coming time. It is known that after the launching ceremony, a QR code (quick response code) application board will be installed here to serve the needs of accessing and searching for information of tourists when visiting and relaxing in Binh Thuan.
