Putting away her excellent degree from Foreign Trade, what is the Hanoi girl doing with her master's degree in Go now?

(Dan Tri) - Khanh Linh currently holds a university degree, 2 master's degrees and is being urged by her parents to get married.
Leaving her rented house in Amsterdam (Netherlands), Khanh Linh faced the bitter cold despite wearing many layers of clothes. "The winter here is cold and dark. The Netherlands is only beautiful in the summer" is Khanh Linh's half-joking, half-serious statement when asked about the environment she is living in. 7 years ago, Le Kieu Khanh Linh (born in 1994, Hanoi) unexpectedly received a lot of attention from the online community when she temporarily put aside her excellent degree from the Foreign Trade University (Hanoi) to go to Korea to study for a master's degree in Go. She was the first Vietnamese female student to be awarded a scholarship in Go from Myongji University, Korea. At that time, this field of study was still quite vague to many people. Linh is still the same with bright eyes, lovely when attentive, but now, she has changed a lot by having long hair and getting used to a new job. In particular, she has just graduated from an MBA (Master of Business Administration) course at the University of Amsterdam. One undergraduate degree, two master's degrees and a big dream
Khanh Linh is currently working in a trading company in the Netherlands. This is a completely new field for Linh and she is finding it interesting to learn. "Currently, I do nothing directly related to Go. Occasionally, I participate in a few small, insignificant projects. When meeting me, many people often mention my master's degree in Go, even in Korea or the Netherlands. I feel like people use that as a way to identify me (laughs). I find it quite fun and interesting to see their reactions," Khanh Linh told Dan Tri reporter. Talking about the reason for choosing to study MBA, the girl from Hanoi said that she wanted to improve her leadership skills, increase her understanding of international business and expand her relationships. Those are all the factors she needs to master before realizing her own big dream. For a long time, Linh has always cherished the plan to start her own company. She is still in the process of researching the field she wants to pursue.
At the age of 29, Linh is still persistent in her journey to discover new things, live her youth to the fullest and constantly develop herself. Those are the arguments Linh used to convince her parents to let her study for a master's degree in Go. Linh fell in love with Go in 5th grade after reading a series of stories. From the joy of seeing people playing Go, she became more passionate every day. This intellectual sport has trained Linh to concentrate, increase her memory and make more friends. At present, the values from this subject still accompany Linh throughout her journey to conquer her goals. 7 years ago, she changed direction to the surprise of her parents. Now, she is still the same. She believes that everyone has their own goals. When she feels she has "enough" to gain, she will build her dream.
Enjoy modeling
Despite her busy schedule, Khanh Linh always tries to arrange time to accept modeling invitations for projects she likes. With a height of 1.76m and an impressive fashion sense, she quickly integrated into this environment. While studying in Korea, Linh also worked as a model many times. She got involved in this field through introductions or castings (the selection process). She confided: "I am not a professional model, but I just like it so I want to do it. Therefore, I don't have much pressure. The journey of self-discovery also left me with many memories, from shaving off half of my eyebrows to cutting super blunt bangs. Sometimes, I get scratches and peeling skin. But basically, I'm happy to do this job. I like to try and see myself in different characters."
Diverse is an adjective that many people use to briefly describe Linh. This also coincides with Linh's use of the word "lissome" (flexible) when talking about her style. She always wants to mix and match clothes in her own way, creating a feeling of freedom, grace, and not following a fixed pattern. She chooses to wear clothes according to her mood. When "her legs are still not tired", Khanh Linh faces new worries from her parents. They want her to start a family and settle down. "Everyone urges me to get married. I even urge myself", the female master's degree holder said with a laugh. For Linh, she sees everything in a positive light. When asked about the trend of modern women who like to develop their careers and be independent, she said: "As long as everyone is happy with that choice, that's fine". Having spent time traveling to many places and studying at different schools, Linh finds herself receiving countless valuable things. Linh now is very different from the short-haired girl who was bewildered when she left her family to go to a strange country after graduating from university. The process of rubbing shoulders has made her more confident. Above all, she said, her knowledge has been expanded in many directions. Not only academically, she also received knowledge about cultural behavior with people from different backgrounds.
