On the morning of December 30, the People's Committee of Thanh Hoa province held a provincial conference to deploy socio-economic development tasks and ensure national defense and security in 2025.

At the conference, Mr. Nguyen Van Thi, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presented the Action Plan to implement the Resolution of the Government, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council on the task of socio-economic development, ensuring national defense and security in 2025. Accordingly, with the motto of action "Solidarity, responsibility - Creativity, efficiency - Acceleration to the finish line", the Provincial People's Committee set the general goal as follows: Continuing to develop the economy quickly and sustainably; making efforts, accelerating, breaking through, striving to complete all goals and targets of the province by 2025.

Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Van Thi presented the Action Plan to implement the Resolution of the Government, the Resolution of the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Council on the tasks of socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security in 2025.

Focus on removing difficulties and obstacles in institutions, mechanisms and policies, creating clear changes in all fields, promptly putting large-scale projects into operation; promoting administrative reform, improving the investment and business environment, effectively using resources for development investment, creating new momentum for growth in the period 2026 - 2030. Strongly promoting digital transformation, science and technology, innovation; improving the quality of human resources, comprehensively developing, synchronously culture - society; focusing on ensuring social security, sustainable poverty reduction, improving the material and spiritual life of the people.

Strictly manage and effectively use resources and protect the environment; proactively respond to climate change. Ensure national defense and security, maintain political stability and social order and safety.

Some key targets for 2025 are: Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) growth rate reaches 11% or more, of which: agriculture, forestry and fishery increase by 3% or more; industry - construction increases by 15% or more (industry increases by 18% or more; construction increases by 7% or more); services increase by 8% or more; product taxes increase by 10% or more. GRDP per capita reaches 3,750 USD or more. Total export value reaches 8,000 million USD or more. Total mobilized development investment capital reaches 140 trillion VND or more...

To effectively implement the goals and tasks of 2025, the Provincial People's Committee has set out 9 main tasks and solutions. Therein, focusing on directing, operating, organizing the drastic, synchronous and effective implementation of tasks and solutions in each sector and field, in order to strongly promote growth drivers in investment, consumption and export; promote the development of economic sectors in agriculture, industry, services, trade and tourism, associated with economic restructuring, transforming the growth model, creating growth drivers; striving to complete 100% of the goals and tasks of 2025.

Continue to direct the comprehensive and effective implementation of the goals, tasks and solutions set out in Resolution No. 58-NQ/TW dated August 5, 2020 of the Politburo on building and developing Thanh Hoa province to 2030, with a vision to 2045; Resolution No. 37/2021/QH14 dated November 13, 2021 of the National Assembly on specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Thanh Hoa province.

Directing the review and synchronous completion of institutions, mechanisms and policies; effectively removing difficulties, obstacles and bottlenecks, not shirking responsibility, unblocking resources, creating new motivation, and striving together with the whole country; focusing on removing difficulties and obstacles in investment and business procedures, land access, site clearance, land allocation, land lease, land use fee calculation, handling of public assets, progress of implementation of infrastructure projects in industrial parks and industrial clusters, and quality of human resources.
