At the same time, DOJI Group listed the buying and selling price of gold at 78.5-80.5 million VND/tael, down 500,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the opening session of the same day. The difference between DOJI gold buying and selling prices is 1.5 million VND/tael.

For ring gold, the listed price of SJC 9999 gold is 77.3 million VND/tael for buying and 78.6 million VND/tael for selling, respectively. DOJI in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City markets kept yesterday's price unchanged at 77.45 million VND/tael for buying and 78.6 million VND/tael for selling. The buying and selling prices of PNJ brand ring gold are fixed at 77.2 million VND/tael and 78.4 million VND/tael.

The price of Bao Tin Minh Chau's plain round rings is listed at 77.43 million VND/tael for buying and 78.63 million VND/tael for selling. Phu Quy SJC is buying gold rings at 77.45 million VND/tael and selling at 78.65 million VND/tael.

The price of Thang Long round gold rings at Bao Tin Minh Chau Company is at 77.43 - 78.63 million VND/tael (buy - sell), an increase of 50,000 VND/tael for both buying and selling compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling is 1.2 million VND/tael.

DOJI Hung Thinh Vuong 9999 gold ring of DOJI Group in Hanoi market stood at 77.45 - 78.6 million VND/tael, unchanged in buying price and increased by 50,000 VND/tael in selling price compared to the previous session. The difference between buying and selling price was 1.1 million VND/tael.

Gold prices rose last weekend as investors bet on the US Federal Reserve (FED) cutting interest rates this month, following the release of pessimistic economic data. However, recent economic data showed that the FED was unlikely to cut interest rates by 50 basis points.

Peter A. Grant, vice president and senior metals strategist at Zaner Metals, said gold prices are under pressure as expectations for a 50 basis point Fed rate cut continue to fade. It is likely that the US central bank will only decide to cut rates lower by 25 basis points.

Rhona O'Connell, an analyst at StoneX, said the trend in precious metals prices is still up, and the declines are only short-term.

According to Mike Ingram, a market analyst at Kinesis Money, gold's resistance level will be above $2,510/oz. Gold prices will soon break the record level of $2,531/oz and move towards $2,543/oz.

Kelvin Wong, an analyst at Oanda, predicts that gold prices could reach $2,640 an ounce this year if the Fed begins a long-term rate-cutting cycle. Looking ahead, Bernard Dahdah, a precious metals analyst at Natixis, predicts that gold prices will average around $2,600 an ounce in 2025.
