The whole province has carried out these tasks on hundreds of canals with a total length of nearly 90 km and a volume of 5,528 m³.

Along with winter-spring irrigation, the factories have also completed inspection, repair and upgrading of pumping stations, ready to operate to take water for flooding when scheduled.

According to the reporter's investigation, since December 26, Bac Hung Hai Irrigation Works Exploitation One Member Co., Ltd. has opened Xuan Quan, An Tho, Cau Xe sluices to take buffer water and store water in main canals such as Kim Son, Dinh Dao, Cuu An... after a period of decanting to serve winter-spring irrigation. By the morning of December 29, the average water level in these canals had risen to approximately +1 m.

The intra-field canal system in many localities has been cleared and is ready to store water in the fields.
