The Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Ha Tinh province has just provided chlorine chemical support to Thach Ha district to treat white spot disease in shrimp.
Recently, a number of shrimps raised by Mr. NTH in Thach Long commune were infected with white spot disease. To deal with the above situation, on October 6, the People's Committee of Thach Ha district issued a document requesting support for chemicals to prevent and control diseases in shrimp.
Upon receiving the document, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine provided 150 kg of chlorine chemicals free of charge to the People's Committee of Thach Ha district to treat white spot disease on shrimp at NTH's household.
Along with the above solutions, to proactively prevent and control the epidemic, promptly contain and control it, and limit its spread, the Department of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine requests the People's Committee of Thach Ha district to direct the Center for Application of Science and Technology and Protection of Crops and Livestock to organize the reception, management, allocation, and proper and effective use, without loss or waste; coordinate with the People's Committee of Thach Long commune to guide the purchase of additional chemicals sufficient for timely and thorough disease treatment.
The District People's Committee shall strengthen guidance and direction for the implementation of aquatic disease prevention and control in the area according to the documents instructed by the Department of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Sub-Department; proactively review, inspect and supervise at the grassroots level, promptly detect and promptly implement prevention and control solutions when new diseases arise, prevent widespread spread, promptly report on the disease situation and prevention and control work according to regulations.
