Sharing with Dan Tri reporter, Mr. Nguyen Minh Sy (Hoang Hanh commune, Hung Yen city, Hung Yen province) confirmed that he was the groom in the clip of boating in the middle of flood water.
It is known that Minh Sy and his wife's wedding took place a few days ago. The couple is entering a married life filled with happiness.
According to Minh Sy, on the morning of September 12, when the engagement ceremony was held, the water started to reach ankle height. After that, the water continued to rise very quickly. By noon, the water reached waist height.
"Seeing the water rising higher and higher, I couldn't help but worry. However, 140 trays of food had been prepared, the family couldn't postpone it so it was still organized as planned," said Mr. Sy.
Because of flooding everywhere, the groom Minh Sy's family had to move the entire banquet table to his uncle's house not far away.
"The image in the clip is me, my wife, my mother and my aunt taking a boat home to burn incense and worship our ancestors," Mr. Sy added.
The boat the couple used for their wedding was borrowed from a neighbor. Due to the tight deadline, there was no time to decorate it beautifully.

Mr. Sy said: "The surprising thing was that after the wedding was held, the water receded that same night. Perhaps our wedding was the most special in the area, because this area rarely floods like this."
It is known that Minh Sy and his wife fell in love 2 years ago before getting married. The couple were high school classmates and then went to college together. Currently, the couple lives and works in Hanoi.
"Although there were some challenges with the weather, the wedding was very happy and memorable. Maybe I will print some photos of the wedding procession during the flood to save memories for my children to see," Mr. Sy told Dan Tri reporter.
Talking about future plans, Minh Sy revealed that the couple will work hard, save money to start a business, and provide their children with a good life.
Minh Sy shared: "In love or married life, any couple will have conflicts. The most important thing is understanding and sharing so that the relationship becomes stronger and stronger."
