The mother is Ms. Vang Thi Si, currently living in Phin Ho village, Y Ty commune, Bat Xat district.
At noon on May 29, Ms. Si showed signs of labor and was taken by her family to Bat Xat District General Hospital to give birth.
However, when arriving at Ban Ven village, Ban Qua commune, Ms. Si had severe abdominal pain, her family had to stop the car and help her sit on the roadside. Immediately after receiving the news, staff from Ban Vuoc and Ban Qua commune health stations promptly arrived to assist the mother in giving birth.
With the support of medical staff from the communes and local people, Ms. Si safely gave birth to a 3 kg baby boy.
Immediately afterwards, the mother and child were transferred to Bat Xat District General Hospital to treat the risk of infection and contamination.
Through the above case, the doctor recommends that to avoid giving birth, pregnant women should have regular check-ups and monitor their pregnancy health at the nearest medical facility. In particular, when the due date is near, pregnant women need to be examined and monitored regularly and when there are signs of labor, they need to be hospitalized early for timely treatment.
