| The Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway is over 83km long, passing through Ninh Hoa town and 3 districts of Van Ninh, Khanh Vinh and Dien Khanh, Khanh Hoa province. The project started construction in early 2023, invested by Project Management Board 7 under the Ministry of Transport, with a total capital of nearly 12,000 billion VND. |

| According to the contractor, due to difficult access conditions, the bridge construction could only be carried out from one direction, and due to the high mountainous terrain, materials could not be transported across. Therefore, to speed up the progress, the contractor had to cast the beams on site, thereby shortening the travel time. |

| This highway project has complex terrain, and construction requires crossing mountains and forests. The entire highway has 34 bridges, of which the two longest are Khanh Binh Bridge with 17 spans and Ninh Than Bridge with 11 spans. |

| According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Dong - representative of the Van Phong - Nha Trang expressway project management unit, every day there are over 300 workers on duty at the construction site with vehicles mobilized to continuously construct even during the September 2nd holiday this year. |

| Meanwhile, Mr. Truong Anh Dai - Deputy Commander of the project contractor - said that every day the unit mobilizes about 450 personnel divided into 3 shifts, 4 crews with machinery and equipment to continuously work at the construction site. |

| The project implementation encountered difficulties in site clearance, but this problem has been resolved. Along the route, 2,774 households have handed over their sites to the construction unit, reaching 100%. Up to now, construction of 6/6 resettlement areas has been completed and the plots have been divided and lots have been drawn for households. |

| Mr. Dang Van Dung - Executive Director of Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway Project - said: The entire project basically achieved the set plan, the contractors made a lot of efforts in the implementation of construction, closely following the adjusted construction schedule, with the goal of striving to basically complete before April 30, 2025. |

| For this project, the investor reported that 616 hectares of land were recovered, with 2,790 households affected, including 2,790 households. By the end of August, 83.35km/83.35km of land had been approved, paid, and handed over, reaching 100% of the main route. |

| There is still a part of the additional reclaimed area for the construction of the crest ditch, the slope and some locations of the overpass approach road that have not been handed over to the construction unit. In addition, the expressway is also stuck with some technical infrastructure that will be relocated in the coming time. |

When put into operation, the Van Phong - Nha Trang Expressway will help connect the route to Van Phong economic zone; key industrial zones such as Ninh Thuy, Suoi Dau, Doc Da Trang... in Khanh Hoa province.
