On the morning of August 3, Lieutenant Colonel Nguyen Cong Hoa, Head of Ea H'leo District Police, said that through patrolling and controlling, the Traffic Police Team (District Police) discovered that some sections on the Ea H'leo bypass (section through Ea Ral commune) had collapsed or showed signs of subsidence, posing a danger to traffic safety.

Specifically, at km6+600m, the road surface is cracked, sunk, and eroded, covering almost the entire road surface, creating a very dangerous deep hole. At km7+300m, the road surface is clearly cracked, and the embankments on both sides are also eroded by rainwater, causing soil and rocks to slide onto the road surface, posing a potential risk of landslides at any time.

Paragraph
The road surface at km6+600m has subsided almost the entire road surface area.

On the afternoon of August 2, Ea H'leo District Police reported to relevant functional units to inspect and monitor these landslide sites. Currently, Road Management Area III (the unit managing the Ea H'leo bypass) has cordoned off the area and placed warning signs at the landslide sites.

Faced with complicated weather conditions and prolonged storms, Ea H'leo District Police warned and requested drivers to pay attention to safety when traveling on the Ea H'leo bypass, especially for vehicles carrying heavy loads of goods and passengers at night.

The crack extends at km7+300m on the Ea H'leo bypass through Ea Ral commune.

In addition, Lieutenant Colonel Hoa also noted that recently, on Ho Chi Minh road (the section passing through Ea H'leo district), there has often been dense fog with heavy rain, especially in the early morning and late afternoon. This situation reduces the visibility of drivers to only about 5 - 10 m, posing a potential risk to traffic safety. Therefore, drivers should reduce speed, move slowly, pay attention to observation, turn on warning lights so that other vehicles can easily detect them, and drive on the correct side of the road according to regulations.
