Cam Lo: 32 villages and neighborhoods were awarded welfare projects with a total value of 1.9 billion VND

Chairman of Cam Lo District People's Committee Tran Anh Tuan said that the locality has just allocated 1.9 billion VND to reward welfare works for 32 villages and neighborhoods that meet the new rural standards (NTM) model and urban civilization in 2024.

Of the 32 villages and neighborhoods awarded this time, 20 villages and neighborhoods that achieved level 1 model status were each awarded a welfare project worth 50 million VND; 10 villages that achieved level 2 model status were each awarded a project worth 70 million VND, and 2 villages that achieved level 2 model status were each awarded a project worth 100 million VND.

Welfare projects mainly include building cultural institutions, sports fields, lighting lines... to serve the common activities of the community.

The awarding of welfare works to residential areas achieving model new rural areas shows the attention of local Party committees and authorities in the process of implementing the National Target Program on New Rural Construction. Thereby, encouraging and motivating people to continue promoting the spirit of solidarity to build an increasingly prosperous and happy rural life.
