During the 4-day National Day holiday, Cua Lo beach welcomed about 180,000 visitors.
Specifically, during the 4-day holiday (August 31, 2024 - September 3, 2024), Cua Lo beach welcomed about 180,000 visitors, of which about 67,000 stayed. An average increase of 30% over the same period in 2023.
“All tourism activities at Cua Lo beach are safe,” said Mr. Son.
It is known that in the first 8 months of 2024, Cua Lo is estimated to reach 4,650,000 visitors, an increase of 31% over the same period, reaching 120% of the yearly plan.
Of which, the number of overnight guests is estimated at 1,720,000, up 39% over the same period, reaching 119% of the yearly plan. International guests are 6,000 people, up 12% over the same period.
Revenue from tourism activities is estimated at 4,800 billion, up 37% over the same period, reaching 114% of the yearly plan.
Mr. Son once shared: Hanoi - Vinh Expressway and Vin Wonders Cua Hoi are the two main driving forces that help Cua Lo tourism have such sudden growth.
Besides Cua Lo, many other tourist destinations in Nghe An such as Uncle Ho's Hometown (Nam Dan), Truong Bon Historical Site (Do Luong), and Tea Island (Thanh Chuong) also welcomed a sharp increase in visitors during the Independence Day holiday (September 2) this year.
According to information from the Department of Tourism of Nghe An province: It is estimated that during the 4-day holiday (August 31 to September 3), the entire Nghe An province welcomed and served 320,000 visitors, an increase of 19% over the same period in 2023.
Of which, the number of overnight guests reached 110,000 (up 22% compared to 2023); international guests reached 1,200. Total tourism revenue reached over 635 billion VND, up 27%.

Of which, international visitors are estimated at 74,000, an increase of 276.7% compared to the 2023 holiday, with revenue estimated at nearly 650 billion VND, an increase of 182.6% compared to the 2023 holiday. Room occupancy rates average 85-90%, with 100% on the evenings of August 31 and September 1.
