According to the announcement from the Banking Academy, majors such as Auditing, Banking, Digital Banking, Finance, Financial Technology, International Business, Logistics and Supply Chain Management, and Economic Law have a benchmark score of up to 29.9/30 when using the admission method based on academic records. The Accounting major scored 29.8 points, while the Investment Economics major scored 29.3 points. The remaining majors have scores ranging from 25.5 to 28.54 points. This benchmark score includes both incentive points and priority points.
For high-quality training programs, the admission score is calculated on a 40-point scale, in which Mathematics is doubled. The benchmark score for majors in this program ranges from 36 to 39.9 points.
The University of Commerce has also announced the benchmark scores for 4 admission methods, including: considering academic records for candidates from specialized schools (code 200), considering the competency assessment test scores of Hanoi National University (402a), considering the thinking assessment test scores of Hanoi University of Science and Technology (402b) and considering international certificates combined with academic records (410).
With the method of considering academic records, the school calculates the average score of three years of subjects in the group, then adds priority points according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training. Compared to last year, most majors increased by 1 - 2 standard points. The highest standard score achieved was 29.25 points for Logistics and Supply Chain Management, followed by Marketing, International Business and E-commerce (all three majors achieved 29 points). Other majors have standard scores of 25 points or more.
Along with that, these majors also have the highest standard scores from 26.25 to 27 points when using the admission method combining international certificates and academic records, while the remaining majors achieve over 22 points.
With the method of considering the competency assessment test scores organized by Hanoi National University and the thinking assessment test of Hanoi University of Science and Technology, the University of Commerce sets the standard score from 22.5 to 27.5 points for the majors. The highest standard score achieved is 27.5 points for the major of Business Administration.
However, the above information is only an example based on some specific universities and majors. The 2024 university admission benchmark may vary depending on each school and each major, and it may also be adjusted during the admission process.
In particular, the Diplomatic Academy has just announced the threshold for early admission applications based on academic records for full-time university admission. Accordingly, the International Business major has the highest standard score of 23.82 points. Following are the majors International Communications, International Economics, and International Relations, all of which have scores above 23 points.
In addition to the early admission method based on high school academic results, the Diplomatic Academy also conducts direct admission with 3% of the total quota, early admission based on interview results with 2% of the total quota, and admission based on high school graduation exam results with 25% of the total quota.
