After the Ministry of Education and Training announced the 2023 high school graduation exam scores, up to this point, the Departments of Education and Training have completed the recognition of high school graduation for students.
Candidates who still have questions about the exam results can submit a request for review at the place of registration for admission, the deadline is July 27. The examination council will organize a review of the exam and consider recognition of high school graduation after the review, no later than August 12. In addition, candidates need to pay attention to the time frames for registering and considering admission to universities and colleges according to regulations.
Register and adjust admission wishes until 5:00 p.m. on July 30. According to the enrollment plan, from 8:00 a.m. on July 10 to 5:00 p.m. on July 30, candidates can register and adjust their admission wishes an unlimited number of times on the Ministryof Education and Training's general enrollment system.

Candidates must arrange their preferences in order of priority from highest to lowest, with preference 1 being the highest preference. Once they have been arranged in order of priority, each candidate will only be admitted to the highest possible preference.
Candidates who are eligible for admission through early admission methods must continue to register and adjust their wishes on the Ministry of Education and Training's system to be processed according to the national process, from which the final admission results will be available. If they do not register on the system, candidates are considered to have given up their right to be admitted to that major or school.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Thu Thuy, Director of the Department of Higher Education (Ministry of Education and Training) noted that candidates need to carefully study the guidance documents and must correctly, fully, and completely complete the registration process. For candidates who participate in early admission and have been admitted with conditions, training institutions are responsible for updating the results on the system so that they can proactively choose the order of their wishes when registering for admission.
According to the Director of the Department of Higher Education, candidates should not register too many wishes but should not register too few. In particular, never only register one wish to avoid risks. Candidates need to make smart choices, should boldly register the wishes they love, with the majors they are passionate about in the first order. This is very important because it will affect their future. Once they have been admitted to the first wish, even if they do not enroll, they will not be considered for admission to wishes 2, 3, 4...
By July 25 at the latest, universities must update information on the minimum scores for admission based on high school graduation exam scores.
For the health and teacher training sectors, the Ministry of Education and Training will announce the threshold to ensure input quality on July 25 so that schools in this sector can set the score to receive application documents. Before 5:00 p.m. on July 26, schools training teachers and health sectors will set the minimum score for candidates to register their wishes.
At the end of the registration and adjustment period, from July 31 to 5:00 p.m. on August 6, candidates must pay the admission fee according to the number of registered wishes online according to the instructions of the Ministry of Education and Training.
Candidates who are eligible for regional and target priority policies must coordinate with reception points to review information on the candidate's regional and target priority policies (if any).
Announce benchmark scores before 5:00 p.m. on August 22
From August 12 to 5:00 p.m. on August 20, training institutions will coordinate with relevant units to review data on the system, then upload data and admission information to organize the admission of registered candidates. Virtual filtering and processing of candidates' wishes will be performed 6 times on the system and will end on the afternoon of August 20.
Before 5:00 p.m. on August 22, universities will announce the 2023 university admission scores and admission results. Candidates should pay attention to receive admission and admission results on the system within the prescribed time.
Before 5:00 p.m. on September 6, all successful candidates must confirm their admission online for the first round on the system. If candidates do not confirm their admission, they will have to wait for additional admission in the next admission rounds of the universities.
For candidates who are admitted directly according to the Regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training, from July 5 to 5:00 p.m. on August 15, candidates can confirm their admission on the system. Candidates who have confirmed their admission will not be allowed to register for further admission, except in cases where the Principal or Director of the training institution allows them not to enroll. In cases where admission has not been confirmed, candidates can continue to register their admission on the system or the National Public Service Portal like other candidates. If admitted, candidates will confirm their admission according to the general schedule.
From September 7 to December 2023, candidates who need to apply for additional admission rounds of training institutions will follow the admission plan posted on the schools' admission information pages.
Training institutions must accurately and fully report 2023 enrollment results on the system before December 31, 2023.
