DNO - On January 10, Quang Nam Tourism Association coordinated with Duy Nhat Indochina Tourism Company to organize a meeting and exchange with nearly 60 representatives of Philippine travel companies after a survey of major tourist destinations and services in Da Nang and the Central region (from January 7 to 11).

Accordingly, from January 7 to 11, the Philippine travel famtrip group visited tourist attractions in Da Nang city, Thua Thien Hue province and Quang Nam .
This is also an opportunity for local tourism and travel businesses to meet, connect, and cooperate to develop tourism with partners from the Philippines.

According to Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy, Director of Duy Nhat Dong Duong Tourism Company (the unit coordinating the reception of the delegation), the members participating in this famtrip delegation are mainly representatives of travel agencies from the Philippines.
The trend of this tourist market is to travel in groups, families and small groups. Therefore, the businesses that conducted this survey have planned to sell products from Da Nang and the Central region until October 2024.
The tour product is built by the travel agency around a 4-day, 3-night program, in which guests will stay one night at each locality.
Mr. Nguyen Son Thuy also said that after the survey, businesses will build tours, routes, and products suitable to the needs and tastes of customers.
Organizing the reception of the delegation to survey the main tourist attractions and services in Da Nang and the Central region is an opportunity for the parties to connect, build and form a chain of typical regional products and services for Filipino guests through travel companies selling tours in the future.
Representatives of tourism businesses from the Philippines highly appreciated the destinations and services of Da Nang and the Central region; at the same time, they expected to build products suitable for this tourist market in the near future.
The Philippines, with a population of over 109 million people, is a country in the ASEAN bloc, very close, friendly and has similar cultural life to the Vietnamese people.
Connectivity is further enhanced as Cebu Pacific Airlines opens direct flights from Manila, Philippines to Da Nang from December 7, 2023, with a frequency of 3 flights/week and a flight time of about 2.5 hours.
