On the afternoon of August 28, Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Phuc, Vice Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee, signed a document to send to the Provincial Police and related departments, branches and localities on the traffic organization plan on Bao Loc Pass and Mimosa Pass during the September 2nd holiday this year.

On the occasion of September 2nd holiday, Mimosa Pass (currently under repair) is still one of the main roads in and out of Da Lat City.

Accordingly, from 6:00 a.m. on September 1 to 8:00 p.m. on September 4, trucks with a total weight of over 20 tons will be banned from traveling on Mimosa Pass. During the above time frame, these vehicles will enter and exit Da Lat City in the direction of National Highway 27 - Provincial Road 725 to Ta Nung Commune or National Highway 27 - National Highway 20 through Dran Pass to Trai Mat (Ward 11).

The province requires competent authorities to flexibly regulate and divert traffic at any time for all types of vehicles (except trucks with a total load of more than 20 tons) in the direction to Da Lat when Mimosa Pass is congested, to circulate through the internal road of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area.

Meanwhile, for Bao Loc pass, from 10:00 to 17:00 on September 1 and 2, trucks with a total load of over 20 tons (transporting minerals, construction materials, soil, rocks, etc.) will be banned from traveling uphill from Da Huoai district to Bao Loc city and downhill from 14:00 to 20:00 on September 3 and 4.

Lam Dong Provincial People's Committee assigned the Provincial Police to direct the Traffic Police and local police to regularly patrol and inspect to ensure traffic order and safety on the roads; arrange checkpoints (at Lien Khuong roundabout, the turnoff point to the Lien Khuong - Prenn expressway tunnel into Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area, Lam Dong Electricity roundabout) to regulate, guide, and divide traffic flow in accordance with the actual situation.

At the same time, hire and arrange 2 rescue vehicles on duty 24/7 from September 1 to September 4 in 2 areas between Mimosa Pass and Bao Loc Pass to handle situations when traffic accidents occur.

Bao Loc Pass will ban trucks over 20 tons during the September 2 holiday.

Since the beginning of February this year, Prenn Pass has been closed for upgrading and expansion. Vehicles entering and exiting Da Lat City from Highway 20 mainly pass through Mimosa Pass and the internal road of Tuyen Lam Lake National Tourist Area (this road is prohibited for trucks); other roads are still operating normally.

On the occasion of September 2nd this year, Prenn Pass is still closed because the construction has not been completed, so people and tourists still travel as usual when entering and exiting Da Lat City (except for some vehicles that are banned according to specific time frames and days as mentioned above).
