On the afternoon of October 28, in Ho Chi Minh City, the organizing committee ELLEMan Fashion Show held a meeting to share special features and designers participating in the show.

The catwalk is nearly 400m long.

ELLEMan Fashion Show 2024 with the theme Dimensions of Style will take place in early November 2024.

This fashion show is exclusively for men, creating a playground for young designers to express their creativity.

Participating in the show were designers Mai Lam, Tom Trandt, Phi Pham and stylist Freddy Nguyen, introducing new collections for men.

Director Cao Trung Hieu said the catwalk of this show is quite special, nearly 400m long.

"The long runway is a challenge for models, especially amateur models.

The organizers ensure safety conditions for the models in terms of catwalk, shoes, etc. The combination of music and lighting will contribute to creating more inspiration for the models' sublime performance" - director Cao Trung Hieu emphasized.

Catwalk director Nha Truc 'revealed' that there will be non-professional models who are professional athletes , actors, elderly people... performing.

The show especially features the Say Hi Brothers , who have been bringing a fresh spirit to fashion, strongly spreading fashion for men.

However, the number and identity of the participating brothers have not been announced by the organizers.

Using AI in fashion design

The organizing committee representative said that the criteria for selecting designers to participate in the fashion show is not based on popularity but on the personal story and branding of the young designer.

Mai Lam, Tom Trandt, Phi Pham and stylist Freddy Nguyen will present the new collection. Notably, Tom Trandt's story. He was born in 1990 and graduated with a degree in fashion in New York, USA.

His designs are inspired by contemporary style and street fashion.

The main materials he uses are specially processed, combining many processing techniques to create environmentally friendly products, promoting the message of sustainable fashion.

Tom Trandt will present the Fold collection, inspired by the art of paper folding and movement.

The collection conveys the message of urgency and haste in modern life.

In particular, he applies artificial intelligence AI to the collection creation process.

"Describing in detail is difficult, AI helps save time and labor. If before it took 20 people working until 11pm every day to make 20 designs, now when applying AI, only 2 people are needed, working until 5pm every day to complete 30 designs.

I have been "raising" this AI for the past year so that it understands preferences, colors, materials... and can suggest designs. AI is like a split brain, it can draw 100 times faster than a real person" - Tom Trandt shared.

It is expected that 120 new designs will be introduced in ELLEMan Fashion Show 2024 on November 7 at City Park (The Global City), Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh City.
