Singer Thai Tran passed away at the age of 44

According to information from Thai Tran's family, the female singer passed away on the morning of November 25. The funeral will take place at 2:00 p.m. on November 25 at the singer's home and the funeral will take place on the morning of November 27, with cremation scheduled at Phuc An Vien cemetery (Thu Duc city, Ho Chi Minh city).

Over the years, singer Thai Tran has had to fight many illnesses. She has end-stage heart failure and has undergone surgery to have a pacemaker inserted. In addition, the singer also has kidney disease and has to undergo dialysis every day.

Thai Tran was born in 1979, from Dong Nai, and won fourth prize in the Ho Chi Minh City Television Singing Contest 2002. In 2014, the female singer participated in the contest I am the winner, impressing with her emotional voice and strong, optimistic spirit, because at that time she was being treated for kidney failure.

Thai Tran's talent and determination moved artist Hoai Linh, who adopted her and supported her in pursuing art. In 2015, she released the music album Trinh Bay Di Tam Lang.

After this contest, the female singer rarely participated in programs because her health continued to worsen.

In 2020, singer Thai Tran returned to the stage in the show Mysterious Singer, after a long absence. At that time, she burst into tears when talking about her arduous journey of fighting illness.

She said she missed the stage and the audience because she couldn't sing for a long time due to her health. The singer also admitted that she almost died many times but tried to overcome and maintain her life.
