From shy girl to music star
Cam Ly was born in 1970, originally from Quy Nhon. In the late 90s, she gained attention when she sang with Dan Truong in the album If tomorrow fades and success with songs: The person returning at the end of the street, Strange shore, Missing a stranger, Afternoon clouds...
Cam Ly stands out in folk music thanks to her impressive voice and youthful beauty, always loved by the audience. Although there is no artistic tradition, her family is very passionate about music, the three sisters Cam Ly, Minh Tuyet and Ha Phuong showed talent from a young age.
Cam Ly started singing later than Ha Phuong and Minh Tuyet because of her shy personality. She dropped out of her singing class because she was afraid of performing in front of a crowd. Although she loved music, Cam Ly did not dare to step on stage. After being encouraged by her two younger sisters, she finally had the courage to pursue her passion.
In 1993, Cam Ly and her younger sister Minh Tuyet won first prize in the duet competition of Hoa Binh Theater. From then on, Cam Ly began her professional singing career at musician Minh Vy's studio.
Under Minh Vy's guidance, Cam Ly and Minh Tuyet became musical phenomena and were invited to perform in Europe. Song Saigon sunshine Marking the first time the two sisters appeared on television, they impressed with their youthfulness and innocence.

Overcoming health challenges
In recent years, Cam Ly has been absent from the stage due to health problems. She had to stop singing to treat sinusitis syndrome, which made her voice thick and sounded like she had a cold. She had to have sinus surgery in the US. The disease seriously affected her health and spirit, causing Cam Ly to want to give up her career. However, the love of the audience, her passion for music and the support of her family, especially her husband - musician Minh Vy, helped her overcome the difficulties.
At the age of 54, Cam Ly's shares on social networks have attracted the attention of the audience about her appearance and health. After more than 9 years, Cam Ly will organize a program to celebrate 30 years of singing with Homeland love 6 in early August, with the participation of Dan Truong, Lam Truong, and Meritorious Artist Dai Nghia. The program not only marks 30 years of singing but is also an opportunity to express gratitude to the audience who have always loved, cared for, and followed her.
Happy home in luxury villa
In 2004, Cam Ly married musician Minh Vy and had two daughters, Cam Uyen and Cam Anh. Her family is admired by the audience, although she rarely talks about family happiness.
The support from her husband Minh Vy is an important factor in Cam Ly's success. In the program In her confession , she said Minh Vy not only supported her art but also was a shoulder to share with. They always understood and respected each other.

She and her husband invest in space on the terrace and the land next to the house to grow clean vegetables, including many types such as: sweet cabbage, eggplant, Malabar spinach, perilla, fish mint, mint, sweet potato leaves, green peppers, red peppers, melon, bitter melon, tomatoes...
Cam Ly shared that even though her health sometimes does not allow it, she still takes care of her vegetable garden to relax her mind and recharge her energy.
