Ca Mau organizes the first National Great Unity Day at Tan Phong Hamlet Residential Area

On November 1, the Front Working Committee of Tan Phong Hamlet, Dong Hung Commune organized the National Great Unity Festival in the residential area in 2024 to celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam National United Front - Traditional Day of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (November 18, 1930 - November 18, 2024). This is also the first unit in Ca Mau province to organize the festival.

At the festival, representatives of the Front Working Committee in Tan Phong residential area reviewed the history and tradition of solidarity of all classes of people in the Vietnam Fatherland Front. The festival with folk games attracted a large number of people to participate, spreading the spirit of solidarity, tightening the village and neighborhood relationships in the community.

At the Festival, many people discussed, voted and agreed on many targets and goals to strive to fulfill the tasks in 2025 such as: continuing to mobilize people to increase production and effectively implement the improved 2-phase extensive shrimp farming model; intensive and super-intensive shrimp farming; renovating wasteland and mixed gardens, taking advantage of embankments to grow vegetables and fruit trees to bring stable income to families; achieving the assigned targets.

Mobilize 100% of households with concrete roads to preserve, promptly repair and have solutions to embank and prevent landslides on family land. Mobilize 100% of children of school age to go to school; mobilize people to participate in health insurance to reach 96% or more.

Local specialties are displayed at the festival.

Maintain the rate of households meeting cultural standards, strive to have over 90% of households meeting cultural standards and the title of cultural hamlet; Deploy and mobilize people to well implement the conventions set forth by the hamlet; continue to mobilize people to achieve 16 parts of new rural construction launched by the commune, contributing to building the commune to achieve advanced new rural areas. Maintain and expand the models of the Front Working Committee and existing hamlet organizations such as the model "bright - green - clean - beautiful - safe"; the model "my home's road is safe"...

On this occasion, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ca Mau province awarded Certificates of Merit to the officials and people of Tan Phong hamlet, Dong Hung commune for their outstanding achievements over 1 year of implementing the Campaign "All people unite to build new rural areas and civilized urban areas" and presented 5 gifts to poor households.
