Thien Long changes many leadership positions
The Board of Directors of Thien Long Group Corporation (Code: TLG), owner of the famous Thien Long Ballpoint Pen brand, has approved Resolution No. 10/2024/NQ-HĐQT regarding the change of the title system of a number of senior leadership positions in the company.
Notably, 4 former Deputy General Director positions were converted to the title of Block Director. Specific adjustments are as follows:
- Ms. Vo Thi Hai Ha takes on the position of Deputy General Director replacing the position of Deputy General Director of Finance and Accounting.
- Mr. Bui Van Huong takes on the position of Director of Quality and Supply Chain Block, replacing the old position of Deputy General Director of Supply Chain.
- Mr. Tran Trung Hiep takes on the position of Director of Market Development Block, replacing the position of Deputy General Director of Market Development.
- Ms. Le Thi Bich Ngoc takes on the position of Director of Business Development Block, replacing the position of Deputy General Director of Business Development.
- Mr. Nguyen Duc Hanh takes on the position of Director of Information Technology Block, replacing the position of Deputy General Director of Information Technology.
According to Thien Long Group, the adjustment of the system of titles and the structure of executive personnel is to meet the needs of development and enhance competitiveness in the market. This step not only demonstrates the Group's strength in professionalizing management, but also opens up opportunities to optimize operational efficiency, creating a solid foundation for breakthroughs and growth in the coming period.

Regarding the 4 Deputy General Director positions being adjusted to the position of Director of the Block, Thien Long said that the authority and duties of the leaders assigned by the Group have not changed compared to before. Thien Long affirmed that this action is extremely necessary to enhance the ability to respond to challenges and seize opportunities in an increasingly volatile and competitive business environment.
94% of target completed in first 7 months
Regarding business activities, in the first 7 months of 2024, Thien Long Group recorded revenue of VND 2,283 billion, an increase of 3% over the previous year. In which, the revenue structure mainly came from the domestic market with VND 1,625 billion.
Export revenue grew strongly by 22%, reaching 658 billion VND. Profit after tax in the first 7 months of the year reached 357 billion VND, up 29% over the same period last year.
Compared with the target set for 2024 with revenue of 3,800 billion VND, after-tax profit of 380 billion VND, Thien Long has currently completed 60% of the revenue target and 94% of the yearly profit plan.
At the 2024 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders, Thien Long Group's Board of Directors assessed that the domestic stationery market is facing fierce competition from cheap products imported from China. The company will still focus on its own strengths to maintain its current position and market share.
