It can be said that never before in the capital has there been a music night so imbued with the colors of Nghe An. The program not only honored 5 talented musicians from Nghe An, performed by mostly singers from Nghe An, but the audience participating in the music night was also mostly from Nghe An. The greetings, laughter, and conversations in the local language made Nghe An culture and the soul of Nghe An countryside permeate every space of the music night.

In the opening, Dr. Le Doan Hop - Chairman of the Nghe An Association in Hanoi, on behalf of the Organizing Committee, expressed that: "The five talented musicians of the motherland Nghe An, Nguyen Van Ty, Nguyen An Thuyen, Nguyen Trong Tao, Nguyen Tai Tue and Hong Dang, have passed away one by one. But the imprints of their lives and their immortal musical works, sweet lyrics, melodious and profound notes imbued with the Vi and Giam folk songs still move forever in the minds of all of us. Music has accompanied and flourished with the nation, creating bright milestones in the cultural flow and spiritual life of the people. The five musicians of Lam Giang honored today are all those who have made worthy contributions to the treasure of Vietnamese music, and are the pride of the people of Nghe An...
The art night "The source of Vi, Giam" is a musical feast full of Nghe folk songs, satisfying the expectations of fans; it is a night of Vi, Giam folk songs rich, quintessential, sweet like a mother's lullaby, like the cool water of Lam River, like the high peak of Dai Hue Mountain, all with full flavor, blending, resonating, spreading to satisfy the wishes of the 5 musicians in eternity; bringing the musicians back to their colleagues, the public and their homeland".

In that spirit, for more than 2 hours, the program truly immersed the audience in a musical space like an endless source, the source of folk culture, the source of love for the homeland - country, the source of Giam songs, Vi tunes...
Opening the program, singer Bui Le Man performed "Night Listening to the Boat Song, Missing Uncle Ho " - a famous composition by the late musician An Thuyen, in place of millions of heartfelt words of gratitude to Uncle Ho - the beloved father of the Vietnamese people on the occasion of his 133rd birthday.
Artist Pham Phuong Thao excelled with "Neo doi ber que" and "A song of feelings of a Ha Tinh person". Photo: Organizing Committee.
In part 1 - Dreaming of the countryside , the audience heard the sweet voice of singer Pham Phuong Thao through two songs Neo dau ben que (musician An Thuyen), Mot khuc tam tinh nguoi Ha Tinh (musician Nguyen Van Ty). Each lyric in the song reminds the audience of the image of Hong mountain, Lam river - the source of folk songs, Vi tunes of the folk songs that captivate people's hearts, so that the sound of the homeland is always deep, a peaceful anchorage for everyone.
The source of Vi and Giam has nurtured the character and soul of many Nghe people. So that the songs of spicy ginger and salty salt, of alluvial soil of the homeland river, of the love of Nghe people, continue to be nurtured in songs that go through the years, captivating people's hearts. The songs Dream of the homeland (performed by musician Nguyen Tai Tue, singer Huyen Trang) and Song hat of the homeland river (performed by musician Nguyen Trong Tao, singer Bui Le Man) have also conveyed that message.

From the source of Vi and Giam, from the love for the country, the S-shaped strip of land with the salty and sour taste of eggplants and the scorching Lao wind, 5 talented musicians have put into their music lyrics that carry the soul, character and bravery of the people of Nghe An. From the love for their homeland of Nghe An, from the love of couples and the desire to contribute, they have contributed their efforts to Vietnamese music with a passionate love for the country, for the Fatherland.

The Sea Sings This Afternoon (composer Hong Dang, Meritorious Artist Vu Tien Lam) is the closing song of the program. This must be the intention of the organizers so that when the audience leaves, the two words "homeland" will still echo forever, as if reminding the children of Nghe An about the source of Vi and Giam, which has not only given us beautiful melodies of love but also given us faith and pride in our Fatherland.

Sharing her feelings about the music night with Dan Viet , singer Bui Le Man said that two days before the show, she had trouble sleeping because of nervousness and anxiety. Although she has participated in many shows, this was a very special show for her because the 5 musicians honored in the program were all from Nghe An, of which musician An Thuyen was her teacher. The audience of the program were also all from Nghe An - people from the same hometown and the same cultural region, so she was both happy and worried. Luckily, the show was a success. Music has connected love and gratitude together.
