Sharing with VietNamNet , Editor Thuy Van said that although this was an unavoidable incident, she felt quite sad because the news she was in charge of was not as smooth and complete as usual.

"A news broadcast really takes a lot of effort from the team. It's a real shame that I'm the host and can't say everything.

At that time, I was presenting 3 news segments in a row so there was no time to take a break to stop coughing. I knew my throat was a bit weak but I didn't think I would fall into such a situation. That was also an unhappy incident for me today," said BTV Thuy Van.

BTV Thuy Van is loved by many audiences.

"Right after finishing work, I had to go to the doctor and was prescribed a lot of medicine. I also bought a nebulizer to help my throat heal faster, so it wouldn't affect my work," added editor Thuy Van.

On her personal page, the female editor also expressed regret about the incident. However, many friends, colleagues and fans shared that they understood and sympathized with her because many people encountered similar situations.
